Introduction To Bonalba Bowls Club

Bonalba Bowling Club welcomes new and experienced bowlers.

We provide opportunities for people of all ages and abilities, social bowlers, competitive bowlers, and especially for those who are ‘new to bowls’ and those with disabilities.

Our New Carpetfitted on July 22, offers eight rinks with all synthetic surfaces.

With over 80 bowlers and social-only members, bowling members are eligible to play in all competitions, leagues and club mornings, and can come to the Club for roll-ups (practice sessions) whenever the rinks are not in use.

We host ‘open’ competitions available to all federated bowlers of this and other local clubs and ‘closed’ competitions for members of this club only; from October to May, the club fields teams in the ‘Northern’ League, and also a team in the ‘Winter’ League. And from April to June, compete in the South Alicante Summer League.

Club mornings, or roll-ups, are a popular part of life at Bonalba Bowls Club, attracting many of our members three days a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Members arrive from 9:30 am, ready to bowl at 10:00 am.

These friendly sessions give members the opportunity to play with and against different members, with teams usually arranged to create a good mix of players. As well as enjoying a game of bowls, the mornings are a great opportunity to socialise, catch up with friends and meet other members.

Located on the Costa Blanca, Bonalba Bowls Club is ideally situated just 15 km from Alicante and only 40 km from Benidorm, making it easily accessible for both local residents and visitors to the area.

With approximately 325 sunny days of the year, it’s the ideal place to enjoy your bowling.
