What a fantastic day we had at The Iberian Open Mixed Pairs Competition!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success. These events don’t happen without a lot of hard work behind the scenes, and we really appreciate everyone who gave their time.
A special thank you to John O’Brien for joining us as Umpire of the Day.
We would like to express our very sincere gratitude to Tina Davies for all the hard work she put in in the kitchen, together with Karen Mayne, Belinda Archer, Dave Sparrow and Geoff Isaacs. We really appreciated all your efforts.
A special thank you to our wonderful cake lady, Sue Sparrow Brown, for providing such a fantastic selection of delicious homemade cakes. They were absolutely delicious and, as always, very much appreciated by everyone!
Thank you also to Trevor and Sue Green, and to Judy Branson, for organising the raffle, and to everyone else who helped throughout the day.
Finally, a big thank you to all the visiting bowlers who supported the competition and helped create such a great atmosphere at Bonalba.
It really does take a team effort, and we are very lucky to have such a fantastic bunch of members and volunteers.
