The above was played over the last 2 weeks at Greenlands and La Marina bowls club.
This is an annual competition which is open for entries from all federated bowlers within the LLB area.
It is played as a knockout competition and features Men’s & Ladies singles, pairs and trips knock out rounds, leading up to finals in all disciplines.
This year entries were someone restricted due to the COVID situation, to reach a final, players had to play a minimum of 4 rounds.
Bonalba members entered most of the disciplines and achieved various levels of success with Geoff Dowson our President reaching the semi-final of the men’s singles and Trevor Green & Dennis Wright reaching the same stage in the men’s pairs.
Congratulations to all from Bonalba who took part and while they did not manage to bring any silverware back a creditable performance was achieved by all.
